Gezim Myshketa - Dottor Dulcamara*

Albanian baritone Gezim Myshketa is one of the most promising artists of his
generation. After his debut as Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, he won the
As.Li.Co. competition in 2006, making his role debut as Leporello in Don
Giovanni, and the "Francesco Paolo Tosti" Competition in Ortona in 2008.
Interesting collaborations have followed with prestigious theaters and
festivals, such as: Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Sferisterio in Macerata, Palm
Beach Opera, Abao Olbe in Bilbao, Opéra de Montpellier, Teatro Filarmonico in
Verona and Teatro Verdi in Trieste. Last year he gained great success as
Marcello in La Bohème in Trieste. He recently performed in Le
Convenienze e Inconvenienze Teatrali and I pazzi per Progetto at the
Zurich Opernhaus; Cléopatre at the Withsun Festival in Salzburg;
Carmen at the Macerata Opera Festival. He has just made his debut at the
Festival Verdi in Parma singing Rolando in La Battaglia di Legnano.
