Massimiliano Pisapia - Pinkerton
Specialist of Italian repertoire Mr. Pisapia lately performed Poliuto in Marseille, La Bohème in Hamburg, Las Palmas and Venice, La Traviata in Lecce, Macbeth at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Rigoletto in Palermo, Madama Butterfly in Minorca and Mannheim, Tosca in Atlanta, I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata, Madama Butterfly and Lucia di Lammermoor in Hamburg. Active also on the concert side he recently sang Dvorak's Stabat Mater in Trieste, a lyric concert at the Teatro Regio in Turin, a recital at the Suntury Hall in Tokyo, and Verdi’s Requiemin Moscow, St. Gallen and Hamburg. Mr. Pisapia recently performed at the Aids Gala Concert in Berlin , Donald Runnicles conducting.
Future plans: Tosca at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna; Aida in Liège; Rigoletto at the Festival Internacional de Musica de Bogotà and various concerts in Germany and in Japan.
Donato Di Gioia - Prince Yamadori
Mr. Di Gioia lately performed La Traviata and Rigoletto on tour in Italy with the Teatro Dante Alighieri in Ravenna, Cristina Mazzavillani Muti directing; Shaunard in La Bohème at the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo; I Due Foscari at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome; Giorgio Gérmont again in Traviata in Cosenza; Uberto in La Serva Padrona at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Mr Di Gioia returned at the Teatro Regio in Turin where he recently sang in Traviata and where he will star in Turandot.
Seung Pil Choi - Bonze
Korean born Seung Pil Choi graduated in sacred music at the Chong Shin University and in singing at the University of Arts in Korea, after that he moved to Germany where he specialized in chamber music and German repertoire. In 2006 he arrived in Italy where he graduated in singing at the conservatoire in Turin, in chamber music at the National Academy in Milan and he specialized at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena (with Renato Bruson), at the Accademia Pucciniana in Torre del Lago and at the Opera Studio at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi and in Treviso. Mr Choi collaborated with such theaters as Teatro Filarmonico and Arena in Verona, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Teatro Regio in Turin. Mr. Choi returns to the Carlo Felice in Genoa where in the past Seasons he performed Turandot and he recently participated at the production of Simon Boccanegra at the Teatro Verdi in Parma and in Rigoletto at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Fabio Luisi conducting.
Future plans include Simon Boccanegra in Toulon and a series of concerts in Piacenza.
