The Italian bass- baritone Roberto
Lorenzi took part in the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival and in
the Opera Studio at the Opernhaus in Zürich, where he was member of the
ensemble for several years. His repertoire include: Il barbiere di Siviglia,
Capuleti e i Montecchi, Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Il matrimonio
segreto, La Bohème, Le nozze di Figaro, Tosca, Il
Trovatore, La Straniera, Il Viaggio a Reims (Don Prudenzio) Carmen
and La Clemenza di Tito. In spite of his young age, he
has already collaborated with such artists as: Anna Netrebko, Angela Gheorghiu,
Cecilia Bartoli and the conductors: Daniele Rustioni, Fabio Luisi, Riccardo
Minasi, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Maurizio Benini, William Christie and Marco
Armiliato.
