Born in Milan, she studied flute and voice at the Conservatories of Milan
and Bergamo, and is a recipient of the Rotary Prize. She made her debut at
the age of 24 in Il convitato di pietra, later appearing in Die
Zauberflöte, La finta semplice, Il barbiere di Siviglia,
L’elisir d’amore, and Cuore di Cane (La Scala, conducted by
Martin Brabbins, directed by Simon McBurney). She has collaborated with
Claudio Abbado, Giovanni Antonini, Adam Fischer, Diego Fasolis, Gianluca
Capuano, Giulio Prandi, Alessandro Quarta, and Fabio Bonizzoni. She has
recorded for Outhere Music and, in 2021, released L’Orfeo by Luigi
Rossi (Glossa). Recently, she has performed in L’incoronazione di
Poppea, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Dido and Aeneas, L’Orfeo,
Il ritorno di Ulisse in Patria, L’Ercole amante, and La
Santissima Annunziata.
