"Sul podio, Valentina Peleggi ha diretto l’orchestra non solo con precisione e maestria, ma anche con profondità espressiva, in particolare per quanto riguarda la resa timbrica e dinamica."

(Viviana Coppo, OperaClick)

"Assisted by the infectious melodies, conductor Valentina Peleggi keeps the singers’ voices front and center."

(Gemma Alexander, Seattle Times)

"Valentina Peleggi, who displayed Florentine subtlety in her lively tempi, intuitive phrasing, and overall command of the orchestra. Starting with a spirited overture, she maintained an appropriately Italianate character in each aria and ensemble and brought out the absolute best from the orchestra, all the way to the end."

(Erica Miner, LA Opus)

"From the very first moment under Valentina Peleggi’s direction in her Seattle Opera debut, she marks every note, every interval… because of the careful shading and attention paid to every note… similar attention was paid to the text… "

(Keith Dorwick, British Theatre Guide)
