Iano Tamar - Lady Macbeth
Considered
one of the best voices of dramatic soprano, she has collaborated with conductors
such as Riccardo Muti and Gianandrea Gavazzeni. Among the most successful
performances it is worth mentioning: Elisabetta di Valois in Don
Carlos at the Staatsoper in Vienna, Rachel in La Juive at the
Fenice in Venice, Tosca at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Leonora in Il
Trovatore at the Bregenz Festival, Leonora in La Forza del Destino
at the Bayerische Staatsoper. Besides the great dramatic roles of the nineteenth
century, Iano Tamar is an interpreter of Mozart's characters like Electra,
Fiordiligi and Contessa d’Almaviva.
Future plans: Nabucco in Antwerp; Don
Carlo in Vienna; Lucio Silla in Barcelona; and Aida in Zurich.
