Matteo Macchioni was born in Sassuolo (Modena), and he has been studying music since he was a child. In October 2007 he gets his Master’s degree in pianoforte with honours. During the pianoforte studying years he carries out an intense concert activity and he begins to study Liric singing. In 2010 made his opera debut at “Teatro Giuseppe Verdi” of Salerno as Nemorino in Elisir d’amore of Gaetano Donizetti, under the conduction of  Daniel Oren, after that important debuts followed in theatres and festivals as: Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Regio in Parma, Rosini Opera Festival, Olimpico in Vicenza, Rossini Opera Festival, Royal Danish Theatre in Copenaghen, at Welsh National Opera (Cardiff), at Erl Festspiele.
