Marta Torbidoni, started very young studying singing with her teacher Doriana Giuliodoro. In 2008 Marta graduated with honor at the Conservatory ”G.B. Pergolesi” in Fermo and in 2013 she graduated with the highest degree in Musical Disciplines. She continued her studies under the guidance of Renata Scotto, Sylvia Sass, Giorgio Merighi, Giovanna Casolla, Valeria Esposito, Paolo Barbacini, Fabio Armiliato, Micaela Carosi, Mirella Freni.

In the past seasons Marta Torbidoni had the chances to debut important roles: La Traviata, Anna Bolena, Rigoletto, Gianni Schicchi, I Puritani, working with conductors as Jader Bignamini, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Fabrizio Maria Carminati, Renato Palumbo, John Neschling, Fabio Biondi.

Marta Torbidoni is prize winner in important lyric contests such as the 68th edition of European Competition for Young Opera Singers in Spoleto (2014) and winner of the award ”Cesare Valletti”; first prize of Accademia Puccini in Torre del Lago; as finalist at the Voci Verdiane Competition, she got the role of Amalia in I Masnadieri, performed in Busseto for the 2016 Verdi Festival. She is also the winner of the 2017 “Franco Enriquez Prize” as Best Soprano.
She performed in many important theatres such as: Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Parma, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Teatro Bellini in Catania, Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, Sferisterio in Macerata, Municipal Theater of São Paolo in Brazil, Teatro dellAquila in Fermo, Opera de Tenerife, Teatro Principal in Minorca, Auditorium Gasteig in Munich, Palau della Musica in Valencia, Auditorium Enrico Caruso in Torre del Lago, Teatro Flavio Vespasiano in Rieti, Teatro Lauro Rossi in Macerata.

In 2015 she was asked to replace Mariella Devia in the title role of Anna Bolena at the Tenerife Auditorium.

Other past engagements include: a lyric concert beside Leo Nucci; a series of concerts on tour in Basel, Munich, Stockholm and London for the Verdi Festival (Parma); Leonora in Trovatore at the National Theater of Maribor (Slovenia), in Ascoli, Fano, Fermo, Jesi and Chieti and more recently in a new production at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna under the baton of Pinchas Steinberg, Bob Wilson directing; Violetta Valery in La Traviata at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and at the Carlo Felice in Genoa; Amalia in I Masnadieri at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao (Leo Muscato directing; Miguel Angel Martinez conducting), at the Opera in Rome, at the Teatro Regio in Parma where she also participated at the Roberto Devereux production and performed in a Gala Concert; Elisabetta al Castello di Kenilworth and a series of concerts at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo; Mimì in La Bohème in Civitanova Marche; series of concerts in New York; Micaela in Carmen at the Teatro Regio in Turin; Nedda in Pagliacci in Sassari; Liù in Turandot at the Teatro Regio in Parma; Rossini's Stabat Mater in Cagliari; Il Pirata and Roberto Devereux in Palermo; Medea in Corinto in Bergamo; Nabucco and Le Villi/ Pagliacci in Mainz; Luisa Miller and Lucrezia Borgia in Bologna; Die Fledermaus in Trieste; Attila in Ancona; Luisa Miller in Angers, Rennes, Nantes; Il Trovatore in Tel Aviv and Moniuszko’s Il Paria at the Festival Chopin in Warsaw under Fabio Biondi.

Plans include: Nabucco (concert version) for the Festival Verdi 2023 in Fidenza and in the next season at the Oper Köln; Faccio's Amleto at the Filarmonico in Verona; Il Trovatore at the Comunale in Bologna and Un ballo in maschera in Marseille.
