Rani Calderon - conductor
Musical Director at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, the young Israeli conductor has gained international acclaim both in operatic and symphonic repertoire performing in the dual capacity of conductor and pianist. Rani Calderon collaborates, among others, with the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, the Opéra du Rhin in Strasbourg, the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp, and the Monte Carlo Opera Theatre. He conducted Meyerbeer's Semiramide at the Festival della Valle d'Itria in Martina Franca, Italy edited in DVD by Dynamic.
Plans include: Tannhäuser and a series of concerts in Santiago de Chile; Semiramide at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenaghen; La Traviata in Bucharest.
Marianna Pizzolato - Maffio Orsini
Marianna Pizzolato made her debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro with Il Viaggio a Reims, becoming a reference performer for the main Rossini’s roles, as well as for Baroque and eighteenth century’s repertoire. She collaborated with theaters such as: the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Welsh National Opera in Cardiff, the Opera Royal de Wallonie in Liège, the Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, where she performed Cherubini’s Missa Solemnis under the baton of Riccardo Muti (recorded by EMI). Her discography includes: Haendel's Fernando (Virgin Classics), L’Italiana in Algeri and Ermione (Dynamic), La Donna del Lago (Naxos), Ascanio in Alba (Bongiovanni), Linda di Chamounix for Opera Rara and Peregolesi’s Stabat Mater with Anna Netrebko and Antonio Pappano (Deutsche Grammophon).
