Marianna Pizzolato - mezzo

Considered one of the foremost voices of our time Marianna Pizzolato is making her debut with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai singing Verdi’s Requiem, for the opening concert of the season.

Future plans: Maria Stuarda and Nabucco at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona; Falstaff at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; Rota’s Mysterium in Naples and Rome; La Cenerentola at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège and at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville; L’Italiana in Algeri at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse; Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. On the concert side, Marianna Pizzolato will perform Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in Lucerne, Verdi's Requiem in Leipzig with the Gewandhaus Leipzig. After her successful Japanese debut last March, she will return to Tokyo for a solo concert in 2015.
