After combining his early theatrical experiences with his position as a
professor of macroeconomics and behavioral economics at the University of
Milan, he began a career in opera, distinguishing himself in various
competitions. He has performed in Il tabarro, Gianni Schicchi,
Don Giovanni, Don Carlo, La traviata, Nabucco,
I Lombardi alla prima crociata, I vespri siciliani, La
Gioconda, Rigoletto, and La fanciulla del West,
among others. He has collaborated with directors such as Claus Guth, Emma
Dante, and John Turturro, and with conductors including Juraj Valčuha,
Giampaolo Bisanti, Francesco Lanzillotta, and Maurizio Benini.
