Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, she is in high demand by major theaters of the
world for her extraordinary vocal and stage skills.
After obtaining the title of Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at the V.
Sarajishvili National Conservatory with M° Kariauli and the title of
Master in International Economic Relations at the Technical University of
Georgia, she won the Special Prize of the Teatro alla Scala at the H.G.
Belvedere competition and she was admitted to the Accademia of Teatro alla
Scala without an entrance exam.
In addition, she is a winner of prestigious international competitions,
such as Operalia, the Concourse International de Chant de la Ville de
Toulouse, the Francisco Viñas competition in Barcelona, the international
H.G. Belvedere competition in Vienna, the E. Obraztsova International
Vocal Competition in St. Petersburg.
Ketevan Kemoklidze's repertoire includes numerous titles such as: Carmen,
Aida, Werther, Don Carlo, La forza del destino,
Norma, Anna Bolena, Maria Stuarda, Il barbiere
di Siviglia, La Cenerentola, Le Comte Ory, Le
nozze di Figaro, Linda di Chamounix, Roméo et Juliette,
Faust, Così fan tutte, Ascanio in Alba, Edgar,
Salome, Manon, Rigoletto, A Midsummer Night's
Night, Evgenij Onegin, and The Love for Three Oranges,
among others.
Subsequently she appears successfully at many of the world's major opera
houses including: Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Royal Opera House in London,
Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Real in
Madrid, Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Teatro Regio in Parma, Théâtre du
Capitole in Toulouse, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Opera National de
Montpellier, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Teatro Municipal de Santiago,
Washington National Opera, Los Angeles Opera, National Opera of Poland,
Opera of Monte Carlo, New National Theatre in Tokyo, Malmö Opera, Graz
Opera, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Teatro San Carlo
in Naples, and Opera in Oviedo, among others.
She has also performed frequently in numerous prestigious festivals
including: the Festival dell’Arena di Verona, the Spoleto Festival, the
Sferisterio in Macerata, the Puccini Festival, the Maifestspiele in
Wiesbaden, the Quindicina Musicale inSan Sebastiano, the MITO
SettembreMusica Festival, the Mozartfest, the Stresa Festival, the
Victorialife Festival, the Wexford Festival, the Tsinandali Festival,
among others.
Ketevan Kemoklidze has participated as a soloist in important events,
including: Ivan the Terrible and Alexander Nevsky on tour
with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Pergolesi's Stabat
Mater and Vivaldi's Magnificat with I Solisti Veneti, the
“Plácido Domingo” concert with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra,
Verdi's and Mozart’s Requiem, Mahler's Kindertotenlieder
and Rückertlieder, Stravinsky's Pulcinella, Beethoven's Symphony
No. 9, the AIDS Gala at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Deutsche Oper
am Rhein, the Georgian premiere of Berlioz's Mort de Cléopâtre,
Handel's Messiah, Bach's Christmas Oratorio.
She made her outstanding film debut as Adriana Ferrarese (Donna Elvira)
in legendary Spanish film director Carlos Saura’s film Io Don Giovanni,
having won a special prize at various International Film Festivals.

Otello, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Salome.
Ketevan is actively involved in teaching, giving masterclasses at
various conservatories around the world, including the National
Conservatory in Tbilisi, ESMUC, Conservatori de Mallorca, Atelier de
Exelence and Neo Academy in Valencia, among others.
