Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, Ketevan Kemoklidze is acclaimed worldwide for
her exceptional vocal and dramatic talent. She holds a Doctor of Musical
Arts from the V. Sarajishvili National Conservatory and a Master’s in
International Economic Relations. A winner of prestigious competitions
including Operalia, the Belvedere, Toulouse, and Viñas, she was awarded
the Special Prize of Teatro alla Scala and admitted to its Academy. Her
repertoire includes Carmen, Aida, Don Carlo, Norma,
Il barbiere di Siviglia, La Cenerentola, Salome and
Rigoletto. She has performed at leading opera houses such as Teatro
alla Scala, Royal Opera House, Teatro Real, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and
Washington National Opera, and at major festivals including Arena di
Verona, Puccini Festival, and Wexford. Also active in concert and
teaching, her discography includes Carmen, Otello and Salome.
