Jorge Navarro Colorado studied classical singing and opera at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and completed his training in the Britten-Pears and Samling programs.

Engagements in 2023/2024 include The Messiah with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao conducted by Aarón Zapico and with the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla at the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Stravinsky's Pulcinella with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Handel’s Alcina (Oronte) in Berlin with Lautten Compagney, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung with the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC) at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona and Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Grange Festival in England.

In the 2022/2023 season, Jorge performed as Goffredo in Handel's Rinaldo with Capella Cracoviensis and Xavier Sabata at the Handel Festival in Halle, Bajazet in Handel's Tamerlano with English Touring Opera, Lelio in Handel's Scipione with Christian Curnyn at the Handel Festival in London, and made his debut at the Grand Théâtre de Genève as Telemaco in Monteverdi's Il Ritorno d'Ulisse under the direction of Fabio Biondi, including two concerts of the same work at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid and the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona. Jorge also performed Mozart's Requiem with the OBC and Trevor Pinnock at L'Auditori in Barcelona, venue in which he also sang The Messiah, the modern-day premiere of Terradellas' Giuseppe Riconosciuto with Vespres d'Arnadí at the Torroella Festival, and various concerts of early music with Göteborg Baroque in Sweden.

During the 2021/2022 season, Jorge performed numerous Handelian roles: Damon in Acis and Galatea with Early Opera Company and Christian Curnyn, Oronte in Alcina with Lautten Compagney Berlin, Lurcanio in Ariodante at the Handel Festival in Göttingen, Petrus in Brockes Passion (staged version) at the Opera in Halle, Tempo in Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno with Bach Consort Wien. He also made his debut at La Fenice in Venice as Gualtiero in Vivaldi's Griselda under the baton of Diego Fasolis, and participated in the Handel Festival in London with the baroque aria recital Arias for Ballino, alongside the baroque orchestra Opera Settecento.

Among his performances in previous seasons, noteworthy roles include Eliates in Keiser's Crésus with Ensemble Diderot in Paris, the title role in Falla's El Retablo de Maese Pedro with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and conductor Ryan Bancfroft, Berengario in Handel's Lotario and Giuliano in Rodrigo, both at the Handel Festival in Göttingen under the baton of Laurence Cummings, the title role in Carissimi's Jonas with English Touring Opera, Damon in Acis and Galatea at the Handel Festival in London, Emilio in Handel's Partenope at Iford Opera, Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni in London, Settimio in Porpora's L'Agrippina with Barber Opera in Birmingham and Gualtiero in Vivaldi's Griselda with Irish National Opera under the baton of Peter Whelan. He also sang with Israel Camerata, Irish Baroque Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra and song recitals for voice and piano at prestigious festivals such as the London Song Festival, Ciclo de Lied de Santiago and Sociedad de Conciertos de Alicante.

Jorge's discography currently includes Handel's operas Lotario and Rodrigo, recorded live at the Göttingen Festival (Accent), Cleofida/Poro by Telemann/Handel with Il Gusto Barocco (CPO), the album German Cantatas for Voice and Virtuoso Violin with Ensemble Diderot and Johannes Pramsohler (Audax) and Infinite Refrain: Music of Love's Refuge, a recital album of arias and duets with Randall Scotting and the Academy of Ancient Music led by Laurence Cummings (Signum).
