Jorge Navarro Colorado studied classical singing and opera at the
      Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Welsh College of Music
      and Drama, and completed his training in the Britten-Pears and Samling
      programs.
    In the 2025-2026 season, Jorge sings Crasso in Pompeo Magno by
      Cavalli with Cappella Mediterranea (L. García-Alarcón) at the Bayreuth
      Baroque Festival and in concert performance at the Cité Bleue Geneva,
      Champs Elysées Paris and Theater an der Wien. He also sings Salieri's La
        Grotta di Trofonio at Tage Alter Musik Herne with Hofkapelle München
      (R. Lotter), Handel's Messiah with the Orchestra Sinfonica di
      Milano (F. Biondi), Bach's Magnificat with Accademia Nazionale di
      Santa Cecilia (R. Alessandrini) in Rome, Handel's Rinaldo (1731)
      at Karlsruhe Handel Festival (R. Alessandrini), a new Handel's pasticcio Armida
        e Rinaldo at Palau de la Musica Catalana (PMC) and Château
      Fontainebleu with Balthasar Neumann Orchester (T. Hengelbrock), Le
        Nozze di Figaro in Pistoia with Orchestra Leonore (Giorgi) and a
      concert of Monteverdi duets in Sweden with Göteborg Baroque.
    In the 2024-2025 season he sang Il Ritorno d'Ulisse and Dido
        and Aeneas with Accademia Bizantina (O. Dantone) at the Ravenna
      Festival, Goffredo in Rinaldo (1731) at the Karlsruhe Handel
      Festival with R. Alessandrini, Terradellas' Giuseppe Riconosciuto
      with Vespres d'Arnadí at Barcelona's PMC and the Auditorio Nacional in
      Madrid (ANM), a concert of Christmas music with Arcangelo (J. Cohen) in
      Antwerp, Cambridge and the Wigmore Hall in London, Monteverdi's Vespro
        della Beata Vergine with Capella Reial de Catalunya and Jordi Savall
      at the Monteverdi Festival Cremona, and the same piece at the Fez World
      Sacred Music Festival (Morocco), Li Fratelli Riconosciuti by
      Capelli with Europa Galante (F. Biondi) at the Farnese Festival (Parma),
      Scarlatti's La Santissima Annunziata with the same group as part
      of the Halle Handel Festival (HHF), and Hyllo in Ercole Amante by
      Cavalli at the Monteverdi Festival Cremona.
    Highlights of recent seasons include his debut at the Grand Théâtre de
      Genève as Telemaco in Monteverdi's Il Ritorno d'Ulisse with F.
      Biondi, including two concerts at the ANM and the PMC, Mozart's Requiem
      with the Barcelona and Catalonia Symphony Orchestra (OBC) and T. Pinnock
      at L'Auditori in Barcelona, his debut at La Fenice in Venice as Gualtiero
      in Vivaldi's Griselda under the baton of D. Fasolis, Tempo in Il
        Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno at Buxton Festival with Early
      Opera Company (C. Curnyn), the baroque recital Arias for Ballino,
      with Opera Settecento in the London Handel Festival (LHF), the tenor roles
      in Lotario, Rodrigo and Ariodante at the Göttingen
      Handel Festival conducted by Laurence Cummings, Stravinsky's Pulcinella
      and the title role in Falla's El Retablo de Maese Pedro with the
      BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung with the
      OBC at the PMC and with the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla (OBS) at the
      Semana de Música Religiosa de Cuenca, The Messiah with various
      orchestras like Vespres d'Arnadí, Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao, and OBS in
      the main auditoriums in Spain, Rinaldo (1731) with Capella
      Cracoviensis at the HHF, Oronte in Alcina with Lautten Compagney
      touring Germany and Switzerland, Falla's La Vida Breve with ADDA
      Sinfónica, Bajazet in Tamerlano with English Touring Opera, Petrus
      in a staged version of Handel's Brockes Passion at Halle Oper as
      part of HHF, cover Septimius in Theodora at the Royal Opera House,
      and Scipione with Early Opera Company at LHF.
    Jorge's discography currently includes Handel's operas Lotario
      and Rodrigo, recorded live at the Göttingen Festival (Accent),
      Handel's Brockes Passion both on CD and DVD (Naxos), Cleofida/Poro
      by Telemann/Handel with Il Gusto Barocco (CPO), the album German
        Cantatas for Voice and Virtuoso Violin with Ensemble Diderot and
      Johannes Pramsohler (Audax) and Infinite Refrain: Music of Love's
        Refuge, a recital album of arias and duets with Randall Scotting and
      the Academy of Ancient Music led by Laurence Cummings (Signum).
