The Soprano Irina Rindzuner, has established herself as a first-rate dramatic soprano having appeared in many of the world’s leading opera companies. Noted for her exceptional stage presence and her effortless high-range, she made her debut as Santuzza at New York City Opera under the baton of George Manahan and staged by Stephen Lawless. The role of Turandot had become her signature role since she sang it in Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile, a role she has repeated in Minnesota Opera, National Lyric Opera of New York and DiCapo Opera in New York as well as Saarländisches Staatstheater, Braunschweig Burgplatz and Erfurt Domstufen Festival.
Notable engagements include Minnie in La Fanciulla del West at the Opéra de Montréal, Tiroler Landstheater and Lyric Opera of Chicago (cover); Abigaille in Nabucco at Erfurt Opera; Aida (title-role) in Staatstheater Braunschweig; Leonora in Il Trovatore at Landestheater Linz; Jaroslavna in Prine Igor, Tosca and Lisa in Pique Dame at Ekaterinburg Opera, Russia; the title-role in Manon Lescaut Utah Festival Opera and National Lyric Opera of New York.
Highlights of Irina Rindzuner’s most recent engagements have included Fata Morgana in The Love for Three Oranges and Senta in Der Fliegende Holländer in Ekaterinburg Opera under baton of Michael Güttler and staged by Paul Curran. She sang Beethoven 9th Symphony with Mid-America Productions in Carnegie Hall, performed with Tulsa Opera (USA), Silesian Philharmonic (Poland), New York Choral Society. She recently performed Turandot Opéra de Nice, in Den Norske Opera, in Cagliari and at the Festival Pucciniano in Torre del Lago; Foreign Princess in Rusalka in Ekaterinburg Opera.
