Baritone Hae Kang, born in Seoul in 1994, began studying opera singing at the age of 19 and graduated from Yonsei University. In 2019, he moved to Italy to further his studies at the Como Conservatory. Winner of the 59th International “Voci Verdiane” Competition in Busseto (2023), he also received first prize at the “Zinetti” Competition and second prize at the “Cappuccilli” Competition. He has performed at the Sofia Opera House (La Bohème, Aida), the Teatro Galli in Rimini (Don Carlo), the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Verdi Festival in Parma, and in the theatres of Modena, Piacenza, Fermo, Ascoli Piceno, and Fano, singing roles such as Figaro, Belcore, Renato, Silvio, among others.
