Francesca Aspromonte - La Vergine
After gaining great success in Monteverdi’s L'Orfeo with the Monteverdi Choir under Sir John Eliot Gardiner, in Luigi Rossi’s L’Orfeo under the baton of Raphaël Pichon in Nancy, in Handel’s La Resurrezione with the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla and Enrico Onofri at the Festival de Musica Antigua in Seville and in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with the Geneva Camerata and David Greilsammer, Francesca Aspromonte’s future plans include: revivals of Amore Siciliano with Cappella Mediterranea in Rotterdam, Maguelone and Geneva; Donizetti’s Requiem at the St. Denis Festival with Garcia Alarcon; Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with Les Talens Lyriques and Christophe Rousset in Jesi; Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo at the Musikfest Bremen with L’Arpeggiata and Christina Pluhar; revivals of Perez’s L’Isola disabitata in Lisbon with Divino Sospiro; Rossini’s Il Signor Bruschino at Teatro La Fenice in Venice; Don Giovanni (Zerlina) in Nancy under the baton of Rani Calderon; revivals of Luigi Rossi’s L’Orfeo (Euridice) in Versailles, Bordeaux and Caen; Cavalli’s Erismena (title role) at the Aix-en-Provence Festival and on tour in Europe with Garcia Alarcon. Ms. Aspromonte will star in solo recitals at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice (in the frame of the Monteverdi Festival), in Nice with the Ensemble Baroque de Nice and Gilbert Bezzina, in Castiglioncello del Trinoro and in Bruneck with the Ensemble Cordia.
