Diego Ceretta is the Principal Conductor of the ORT-Orchestra della Toscana. Born in 1996, he graduated in Composition with top marks and honors under under Daniele Agiman at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Then he specialized at the Italian Conducting Academy with Gilberto Serembe and at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena under the guidance of Luciano Acocella and Daniele Gatti. Finalist at the prestigious Premio Cantelli, he made his debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York and he regularly collaborates with such orchestras as: Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Orchestre National de Montpellier, Filarmonica Toscanini in Parma, Orchestra del Teatro Regio in Turin, Orchestra dell'Arena di Verona, Orchestra del Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Krakow Philharmonic and Orchestra Sinfonica Rossini of Pesaro.
