Antonio Garés was born in 1988 in Córdoba (Spain). He began his musical training at the age of 6. In 2013 he graduated in classical guitar from the "Rafael Orozco" Conservatory of Music in Córdoba. He began studying singing in 2013 under the guidance of tenor Juan Luque Carmona, and then continued her studies with Professor Donatella Debolini at the "Luigi Cherubini" Conservatory of Music in Florence. In 2017 he won the "Best Tenor" award at the Carlo Guasco International Competition in Alessandria, in 2018 he was a finalist at the "Andrea Chénier" Competition in Foggia. Selected for the Rossini Opera Academy in Lunenburg (Canada) directed by Alberto Zedda in 2015 he debuts the role of Dormont in La Scala di Seta by G.Rossini. He was also selected by Ernesto Palacio as a full pupil in the 2018 Accademia Rossiniana "Alberto Zedda" in Pesaro. Since 2020, a pupil of the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence.
