Antonino Siragusa
Born in Messina, he began his musical studies in his hometown at the
conservatory Arcangelo Corelli under the guidance of Antonio Bevacqua.
After winning the first prize at the International Competition Giuseppe
di Stefano of Trapani, he made his debut as Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni in Lecce . Mr. Siragusa started a successful career performing in
important international theatres, including Teatro alla Scala,
Metropolitan New York, Wiener Staatsoper, Opéra National de Paris,
Staatsoper and Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper of
Munich, Teatro Real de Madrid, Liceu de Barcelona, New National Theatre
of Tokyo, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia di Roma, Rossini Opera
Festival di Pesaro, and working with such conductors as Valerij
Gergeev, Riccardo Muti, Daniel Oren, Daniele Gatti, Alberto Zedda,
Renato Palumbo, Roberto Abbado, Bruno Campanella, Donato Renzetti, Yves
Abel and Michele Mariotti.
