Silvia Tro Santafé - Sara
Spanish Mezzo-soprano
Silvia Tro Santafé has established a major reputation with audiences and leading
opera houses over the world. Her repertoire ranges from the Baroque to the 21st
century, but above all she is recognised as one of today’s finest exponents of
Rossini and the Bel Canto. Over the last seasons her repertoire has extended to
Bellini’s Adalgisa in Norma in Berlin and Brussels, Romeo in I
Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Munich State Opera and Isoletta in La
Straniera in Moscow. Her Donizetti repertoire includes Orsini in Lucrezia
Borgia in Brussels, Munich and recorded with Edita Gruberova, Sara in Roberto
Devereux, Giovanna Seymour in Anna Bolena and most recently
Elisabetta in Maria Stuarda at the Liceu in Barcelona. She has recorded
and performed many of the greatest roles of baroque repertoire including the
title roles of Xerxes (Champs Elysées- Paris), Rinaldo (Berlin
State Opera), Ariodante (Barcelona)
and as Polinesso (Salzburg Festival, Paris Opera) Tolomeo in Giulio Cesare (Netherlands
Opera).
Recent concert performances have
included Verdi’s Requiem (Hamburg) Rossini’s Stabat Mater(Royal
Liverpool Philharmonic).
Plans include Charlotte in Werther;
Elisabetta in Maria Stuarda
in Marseille; Maffio Orsini in<
Lucrezia Borgia at the Munich
State Opera; and Romeo I Capuleti e i Montecchi in Barcelona.
Mrs Tro Santafé will
return to the Teatro Real in Madrid for production of Lucio Silla.

Bruno Campanella - conductor
With his deep knowledge
of the Bel Canto repertoire M° Campanella is considered one of its greatest
interpreters. Bruno Campanella, collaborates with the main theaters such as the
Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Opéra de Paris, the Wiener Staatsoper, the
Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Teatro
Regio in Turin, the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, the New National Theatre in
Tokyo, the Liceu in Barcelona, the San Francisco Opera, always with huge
success. He has received the Critics Award and a Gold Record Award with the live
recording of Don Pasquale with Luciana Serra and Enzo Dara (Nuova Era).

Andriy Yurkevych – conductor*
Music Director of
the Polish National Opera
After his debut at the
Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, he earned an impressive reputation at international
level with many invitations at the Monte Carlo Opera, the Théâtre Royal de la
Monnaie, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro Municipal
in Santiago (Chile), the Greek National Opera and the San Francisco Opera. Mr.
Yurkevych enjoys a continuous and successful collaboration with the world famous
soprano Edita Gruberova, working with her in numerous productions. Among his
most notable past engagements: Norma in Paris (Salle Pleyel), Nice,
Palermo and Cologne; The Swan Lake, Anna Bolena
in Florence;
Pique Dame, Der Fliegende Holländer, Rigoletto, Madama
Butterfly and Nabucco in Warsaw; Roberto Devereux in Zürich,
Vienna and Madrid; Aida in Riga; The Swan Lake in Rome; Lucia
di Lammermoor in Budapest; Evgenij
Onegin in Munich. In Berlin he
conducted L’Elisir d’Amore (Staatsoper) and Anna Bolena (Deutsche
Oper), a title he also conducted at the Opernhaus in Zurich and at the Wiener
Staatsoper with Anna Netrebko in the title role.
Active also in the
symphonic field, he conducted concerts with the Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali
in Milan and the Münchner Symphoniker, being immediately reinvited. Mr.
Yurkevych also served as Music Director of the National Theatre in Odessa and as
General Music Conductor at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Republic of
Moldova in Chisinau.
As Music Director at the Teatr Wielki
in Warsaw, he recently conducted Evgenij Onegin, Nabucco, Maria Stuarda,
Guillaume Tell and Madama Butterfly and in the next months he will
conduct the Polish classic opera Straszny dwór (The Haunted Manor,
new production by David Pountney) by Moniuszko, Prokofiev’s Romeo and
Juliet, revivals of Manon Lescaut, Nabucco and
Maria Stuarda as well as
symphonic concerts.

Le Duc d’Albe
in Antwerp.
