Alastair Miles is one of the UK’s most renowned opera singers. Winner of
the Decca Kathleen Ferrier Prize, he has performed on major stages across
Europe, America, and Asia. He regularly appears at the Royal Opera House,
English National Opera, Glyndebourne, the Metropolitan Opera in New York,
La Scala in Milan, the Vienna State Opera, and the Opéra de Paris, with a
wide repertoire from Handel to Verdi, Wagner to Britten. A sought-after
concert artist, he has worked with conductors such as Giulini, Gardiner,
Gergiev, Muti, Masur, and Rattle. He has made over ninety recordings for
labels including Sony, DG, Chandos, Warner, and Opera Rara.
