Adriana Di Paola - Dryad
Winner of
Santa Chiara Contest in Naples, she debuted at the Rossini Opera Festival in
Pesaro and at the Festival Dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, after that she was invited
in Valencia where at the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia is starred in
Le nozze di Figaro and Ariadne auf Naxos, Andrew Davis conducting.
She sang also Ninetta in I Vespri Siciliani at the Festival Verdi (2010)
in Parma, where she also performed as Curra in La Forza del Destino under
the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti. On the concert side she sang Die Schöpfung
by Haydn at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, conducted by Lothar Zagrosek;
Der Kronungsmesse with Omer Meir Wellber again in Valencia; Brahms’ Alto
Raphsody and the Debussy’s Demoiselle élue in Cagliari; La Petite
Messe Solennelle in Rome; Rossini’s Stabat Mater in San Sebastian.
Last summer she took part at the Young Project Artists at the Salzburg Festival,
where she sang in Der Zauberfloete, Carmen and Giulio Cesare
and where she gained great success singing the closing recital of the Project.
Mrs. Di Paola recently
starred in Gianni Schicchi with the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome,
Rigoletto in Valencia, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in Ravenna and
Jerusalem. Plans
include: Giulio
Cesare (Cornelia) in Klagenfurt; Anna Bolena in the first revival in
the modern times of the Alto edition; I Vespri Siciliani (1861) at the Teatro
Real de Madrid, James Conlon conducting.

Vladimir Jurowski - conductor
One of
today’s most sought-after and dynamic conductors, acclaimed worldwide for his
incisive musicianship and adventurous artistic commitment, Vladimir Jurowski
made his debut at Royal Opera House Covent Garden beginning a brilliant career
which took him about the appointment as Music Director of the Glyndebourne
Festival, Principal Guest Conductor of the Russian National Orchestra and
Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic. Mr. Jurowski regularly
collaborates with the Bastille Opera, the Komische Oper, the Welsh National

Musicale in Florence. Vladimir Jurowski is a regular guest with many of the
world's leading orchestras in both Europe and North America, including the
Berlin and Oslo Philharmonic Orchestras, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra,
Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Tonhalle Orchester Zurich, Bavarian
Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Mahler Chamber Orchestra
and the Dresden Staatskapelle. Highlights of the 2012/13 season and beyond
include his debuts with the Vienna Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, New York
Philharmonic, NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo and San Francisco Symphony, and
return visits to the Chicago Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Royal
Concertgebouw Orchestra, St Petersburg Philharmonic, Tonhalle Orchester Zurich,
Accademia di Santa Cecilia and the Philadelphia Orchestra. He was awarded
the Abbiati Prize for Best Conductor of the year 2000 and
received the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society's Music Award for the
quality of his work with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Glyndebourne
Festival.
