                                Marianna Pizzolato - mezzo-soprano
                             
                            
                                Marianna Pizzolato made her debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro with Il
                                    Viaggio a Reims, becoming a reference performer for the main Rossini roles,
                                as well as for Baroque and eighteenth century’s repertoire; she is now considered
                                one of the foremost voices of our time. 
                           
                                Ms. Pizzolato regularly sings in the most prestigious theaters and festivals in
                                the world as Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Opéra National de Paris,
                                Nikikai Opera Theatre in Tokyo, Sante Fe Opera Festival, Belcanto Opera Festival
                                in Wildbad, Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona,
                                Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Massimo
                                in Palermo, working with conductors such as Bruno Campanella, Daniele Gatti, Riccardo
                                Muti, Antonio Pappano, Alberto Zedda just to name a few. After her recent successes
                                as Isabella in L’Italiana in Algeri in Florence, Bruno Campanella conducting
                                and Joan Font directing, in Toulouse a new production by Laura Scozzi and in Verdi’s
                                Requiem in Bolzano and Trento with the Haydn Orchestra. Marianna Pizzolato’s future
                                plans include: Tancredi (title role) in Santiago de Chile and in Bremen (concert
                                version) with Accademia Bizantina, Ottavio Dantone conducting; Il Viaggio a Reims
                                at Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow; La Donna del Lago at Opéra Royal de Wallonie
                                in Liège, Michele Mariotti conducting; Falstaff at Teatro Real in Madrid;
                                Rossini’s Stabat Mater with the Accademia di Santa Cecilia (Rome) in Edinburgh
                                under the baton of Antonio Pappano and at the Tanglewood Festival with the Boston
                                Symphony Orchestra conducted by Charles Dutoit; Chausson’s Poème de l'amour
                                et de la mer with the Bremer Philharmoniker in Bremen; Beethoven’s 9th Symphony
                                at the Menuhin Festival Gstaad (concert and recording) and in Wroclaw under the
                                baton of Giovanni Antonini. Ms. Pizzolato will make her debut at the Metropolitan
                                Opera in New York in Rossini’s Guillaume Tell.

                                Riccardo Zanellato - bass
                             
                          
                                One of the most appreciated basses of our time, Riccardo Zanellato recently gained
                                great successes as Ferrando in Il Trovatore at the Salzburg Festival besides
                                Placido Domingo under Daniele Gatti. Among his most notable past engagements: Bellini’s
                                I Puritani and Lucia di Lammermoor in Florence, Simon Boccanegra
                                in Dresden, Turandot at Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, La Bohème and
                                Norma at Teatro Regio in Turin, Norma in Paris (Theatre des Champs-Elysées),
                                Macbeth (R. Abbado/R. Wilson) at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and a Gala
                                concert for the 5th Anniversary of the Guangzhou Opera House in China. Riccardo
                                Zanellato just made his debut in Attila (title role) for the season's
                                opening night of the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Michele Mariotti conducting and
                                Daniele Abbado directing. He then sang Sparafucile in Rigoletto at La Scala
                                in Milan, Ramfis in Aida at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia,
                                David McVicar directing, Banco in Macbeth in Tel Aviv, Bruckner’s Te Deum
                                in Bari, Claus Peter Flor conducting. 
                           
                                Mr. Zanellato’s future plans include: Aida in Naples, Pinchas Steinberg
                                conducting; Norma at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw, under Andriy Yurkevych;
                                a new production of Don Carlo (Filippo II) in Leipzig and at Teatro Carlo
                                Felice in Genoa; Nabucco in Stuttgart. Mr. Zanellato will sing Verdi’s Requiem
                                with the Berliner Philharmoniker in Berlin under the baton of Riccardo Chailly,
                                with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischer Rundfunks in Munich under the baton
                                of Riccardo Muti and in Genoa; Rossini’s Stabat Mater at the Tanglewood Festival
                                with the Boston Symphony Orchestra conducted by Charles Dutoit; a concert gala in
                                Chicago with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Riccardo Muti.
