Rosa Bove - Aristea

Young mezzosoprano, a specialist of the Baroque and sacred repertoire, she performed the role of Valentiniano in a new production of Haendel's Ezio at Schwetzinger Festspiele with the Kammerorchester Basel under the baton of Attilio Cremonesi. Recent engagements also include: Il Mondo alla rovescia by Salieri at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona conducted by Federico Maria Sardelli, Le Nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) at the Festival of Byblos and Suzuki in Madama Butterfly (Suzuki) in Jesi, Fermo and Brindisi. She also sang the Mozart’s Requiem with Christopher Hogwood and the Orchestra Nazionale della RAI in Turin. In summer 2011 she was Ozias in Vivaldi’s Juditha Triumphans at the Soli Deo Gloria Festival in Braunschweig and at the Beaune Festival, with Modo Antiquo and Federico Maria Sardelli and Cardella in Pergolesi’s Lo Frate ’Nnamurato in Jesi with Europa Galante and Fabio Biondi.

Future plans include: Semira in Hasse’s Artaserse at the Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca and she will star in Duruflé’s Requiem with the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino under Francesco Cilluffo.
