Marianna Pizzolato - mezzo
Marianna Pizzolato made her debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro with
Il Viaggio a Reims, becoming a reference performer for the main Rossini’s
roles, as well as for Baroque and eighteenth century’s repertoire, that she sang
in the most prestigious theaters in the world under conductors such as Riccardo
Muti, Antonio Pappano, Alberto Zedda, Bruno Campanella and Daniele Gatti, just
to name a few. Her discography
includes: Haendel's Fernando (Virgin Classics), L’Italiana in Algeri
and Ermione (Dynamic), La Donna del Lago (Naxos), Ascanio in
Alba (Bongiovanni), Linda di Chamounix for Opera Rara and
Peregolesi’s Stabat Mater with Anna Netrebko and Antonio Pappano
(Deutsche Grammophon).
Considered one of the foremost voices of our time Marianna Pizzolato had lately made her outstanding debut at the Opéra de
Paris as La Cenerentola, and she just made another step into Verdian
repertory making her debut as Fenena in Nabucco at the Royal Opera House
Covent Garden in London, besides Placido Domingo.

the Festival Berlioz in La Côte-Saint-André. Active also on the concert side
Marianna Pizzolato will perform Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in
Monte Carlo, Verdi's Requiem in Turin with the Orchestra Sinfonica
Nazionale della Rai under the baton of Juraj Valčuha and in Leipzig, Riccardo
Chailly conducting.
