Marco Armiliato - conductor
One of the leading names in
the international operatic scene. From the very beginning conducted top singers
like Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Angela Gheorghiu and more recently
Anna Netrebko. Guest of the most prestigious theaters in the world he regularly
collaborates with the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Opéra de Paris and the
Wiener Staatsoper. He claims a rich discography with Decca and Atlantic Records,
and recently received the prestigious Grammy Award for the CD “Verismo”
with Renée Fleming. He has just conducted Anna Bolena at the Metropolitan
Opera for the opening night of the 2011/2012 season.

La Fille du Régiment in Paris; Tosca and Aida at the Arena
in Verona; Rigoletto, La Bohème and Turandot in Munich;

Vienna; La Rondine in London; Faust in Berlin. n the next seasons he will be engaged in
new important productions at the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Lado Ataneli - Amonasro
Born in Georgia, started a
career imposing himself on the international scene as an interpreter of dramatic
roles such as Scarpia, Sharpless, Tonio, Alfio, Gérard, Jago, Germont, Jack
Rance, Simon Boccanegra, Amonasro, Rigoletto, Conte di Luna, Nabucco and
Macbeth. He is regularly invited to the MET, the ROH Covent Garden, the Vienna
State Opera, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Bavarian State Opera, the Opera
Bastille in Paris and in the theaters of Hamburg, Zurich, Barcelona, Washington,
Miami, Los Angeles. Among his engravings stands out: La Gioconda with
Placido Domingo and Violeta Urmana (EMI) and the DVD of Thaïs conducted
by Gianandrea Noseda at the Teatro Regio in Turin.
Future plans: Macbeth in Montecarlo; Tosca in Athens and
Los Angeles; La Gioconda in Salerno.
