Rachele Stanisci - Tigrana
Winner of Maria
Caniglia Prize and As.Li.Co international contest, Rachele Stanisci made her
debut in La Bohème (Mimì and Musetta) and Il Turco in Italia (Fiorilla)
on tour in Italy.
In the following seasons she was regular guest in theaters such as: La Monnaie
in Brussels, Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, Dresden Semperoper, Wiesbaden
Festival, Opéra de Montpellier, La Fenice in Venice, Opera in Frankfurt,
Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Opéra in
Monte Carlo, Teatro Regio in Turin. Amongst her recent engagements it is
worth mentioning: Luisa Miller (Luisa) in Sassari (dvd issued by
Bongiovanni); Suor Angelica, Manon Lescaut, Turandot and La Bohème in
Palermo; Marin Faliero (Elena) at the Festival Donizetti in Bergamo (cd
and dvd issued by Dynamic); Don Carlos (Elisabetta, five acts version) at
the Hamburgische Staatsoper; Norma in Bilbao and in Beijing; Il
Trovatore in Las Palmas, Lisbon and Trieste; Don Giovanni (Donna
Elvira) at the Festival in Avenches; Francesca da Rimini at the Opéra
Bastille in Paris, Daniel Oren conducting; Les vêpres siciliennes (Hélène)
at the San Carlo in Naples under Gianluigi Gelmetti and at the Royal Opera House
Covent Garden in London under Antonio Pappano; Beatrice di Tenda in
Catania, Henning Brockhaus directing; the world première of Marco
Betta's Natura Viva (Beatrice) at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino; Manon
Lescaut in Athens; Macbeth at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari; Gala
concert at the Liceu in Barcelona; Un ballo in maschera and Verdi's Requiem in
Trieste (under Gianluigi Gelmetti); Anna Bolena in Catania; Nabucco in
Lima and Bari; Un ballo in Maschera in Tel Aviv under Zubin Mehta with
the Israel Philarmonic Orchestra; Aida (title role) in Pisa and Livorno;
Attila (Odabella) at Opéra in Monte Carlo. In Verona she performed Turandot (Arena), Iris and Attila (Teatro
Filarmonico).
