Antonio Poli - Alfredo*
Young and talented Italian tenor Antonio Poli boasts an international career which
has already brought him to sing in prestigious venues such as: Teatro alla Scala,
ROH Covent Garden and Wigmore Hall in London, Real in Madrid, Chicago Lyric Opera,
Glyndebourne Festival, New National Theatre in Tokyo, Teatro La Fenice in Venice,
Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Salzburg Festival, just to name a few, working with conductors
as Yves Abel, Ivor Bolton, Bertrand de Billy, Jesus Lopez-Cobos, Sir Andrew Davis,
Daniel Harding, Mark Elder, Riccardo Muti, Antonio Pappano, Donato Renzetti.
Plans:
Alfredo in La Traviata in Tokyo and Palermo; Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore
in St. Margareten; Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and Alfredo in La Traviata
at the Staatsoper Berlin; Verdi’s Requiem in Bern. He will make his debut
as Edgardo in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor in Leipzig and as Ferrando
in Mozart’s Così fan tutte in Rome and Chicago; Die Zauberflöte (Tamino)
at Teatro Regio in Turin.

Andrea Giovannini made his operatic debut in Die Lustige Witwe, Massimo De
Bernart conducting. In the following seasons he performed: Conte d’ Almaviva in
Il barbiere di Siviglia at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Opera in Rome and Pisa;
Brighella in Ariadne auf Naxos in Bari and Bolzano; Fenton in Falstaff
at Grange Park Festival in London; Alfredo in La Traviata in Nuremberg,
Dijon and on tour in France; La Vedova Scaltra in Nice and Montpellier; Rinuccio
in Gianni Schicchi and Edmondo in Manon Lescaut in Modena and on tour
in Italy; Rodolfo in La Bohème for Opera Ireland in Dublin; Camille De Rossillon
in Die Lustige Witwe in Rome, Daniel Oren conducting; Les Contes d’Hoffman
at Festival Saint-Cerè; Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor in Dijon; Die Zauberflöte
and La Bohème in Massy; Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore at the Opera
