Daniela Cappiello - Elvira

Winner of the International Lyric Contest Santa Chiara in Naples and of the Toti dal Monte Prize in Treviso, young up-and-coming soprano Daniela Cappiello recently performed in L’Elisir d’Amore in Bologna (Teatro Mazzacorati, Teatro Guardassoni), Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna) in Salsomaggiore Terme and in a series of concerts in Bergamo, Piacenza, Bologna, Ferrara singing opera arias by Verdi, Puccini, Gounod. She currently furthers her studies under the guidance of Cinzia Forte. As winner of the Toti dal Monte contest, she recently made her debut as Lisa in La Sonnambula in Treviso and in Ferrara, under the baton of Francesco Ommassini.

Among her recent engagements: Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore in Castell’Arquato; Suor Angelica at the Festival Puccini in Torre del Lago; Der Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte at Teatro Duse in Bologna, at the Comunale in Modena and at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona; Gilda in Rigoletto at the Festival Verdi in Busseto (native village of Giuseppe Verdi).

Plans include: Suor Angelica (Suor Osmina) at Teatro San Carlo in Naples.

Giulio Mastrototaro - Haly

Giulio Mastrototaro won the As.Li.Co. competition with Belcore in L'Elisir d'Amore and the "Best Performer" award for Donizetti's Pietro il Grande (recorded be Dynamic) at the Martina Franca Festival. Amongst his recent engagements it is worth mentioning: La Cenerentola in Massy; Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro in Frankfurt; Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Così fan tutte in Trento; L’Elisir d’Amore in Florence; La Cenerentola and La Traviata in Vienna; L’italiana in Algeri in Valencia; Il Turco in Italia in Treviso, Ferrara and Catania.

Mr. Mastrototaro will return to sing L’Italiana in Algeri in Massy, taking the role of Taddeo.

Francesco Ommassini - conductor

Francesco Ommassini is the music director of the Orchestra Regionale del Veneto Filarmonia Veneta. M° Ommassini opened the 2011 edition of the Verona Contemporanea Festival at the Teatro Filarmonico with the Orchestra dell’Arena di Verona and made his debut with the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano; he then conducted: Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Novara; Rigoletto and La Sonnambula in Treviso, Ferrara and Ravenna; Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and a series of concerts at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona. More recently he conducted Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Treviso and La Scala di Seta for the OperaLombardia circuit in Italy.

Plans include : revivals of Don Giovanni in Ferrara; Paisiello’s Zenobia in Palmira at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; La Sonnambula at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.
