Daniela Cappiello - Die Königin der Nacht

Winner of the International Lyric Contest Santa Chiara in Naples and of the Toti dal Monte Prize in Treviso, young up-and-coming soprano Daniela Cappiello recently performed in L’Elisir d’Amore in Bologna (Teatro Mazzacorati, Teatro Guardassoni), Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna) in Salsomaggiore Terme and in a series of concerts in Bergamo, Piacenza, Bologna, Ferrara singing opera arias by Verdi, Puccini, Gounod. She currently furthers her studies under the guidance of Cinzia Forte.

As winner of the Toti dal Monte contest, she recently made her debut as Lisa in La Sonnambula in Treviso and in Ferrara, under the baton of Francesco Ommassini.

Among her recent engagements: Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore in Castell’Arquato; Suor Angelica at the Festival Puccini in Torre del Lago; Der Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte at Teatro Duse in Bologna and at the Comunale in Modena; Gilda in Rigoletto at the Festival Verdi in Busseto (native village of Giuseppe Verdi).

Plans include: L’italiana in Algeri (Elvira) in Treviso and Ferrara and Suor Angelica (Suor Osmina) at Teatro San Carlo in Naples.
