Dario Solari - Macbeth
Mr Solari began his career at a very early age performing in important theaters
all around the world. Among his past engagements, it is worth mentioning: Don
Carlowith Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic; Il Trovatore in
Ravenna and then on tour in Italy; Macbeth for the 2012 season’s
opening night at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome under Riccardo Muti, at the Teatro
Comunale in Bologna, in Florence at the Teatro alla Pergola in its original 1847
version (J. Conlon conducting and G. Vick directing), in Kiel and in Copenhagen; Le
Nozze di Figaro in Cardiff; Attila at the Terme di
Caracalla in Rome; Belisario (title role) and Maria di Rudenz(Corrado
Waldorf) for the season’s openings of the Bergamo Musica Festival in 2012 and 2013.
After his recent successes in Toulon (Simon Boccanegra) , Copenhagen (Les
Vêpres siciliennes), Kiel (Nabucco) and Florence (Madama Butterfly),
in the next months Mr. Solari will perform Stiffelio in Frankfurt; Le
Nozze di Figaro and Dom Sébastien roi de Portugal
in Toulouse.

Riccardo Zanellato - Banco
Riccardo Zanellato’s career has led him to become one of the reference artists for
the most important bass roles. Regularly invited by Riccardo Muti for many productions
at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome (among others Iphigénie en Aulide, Moïse
et Pharaon, Macbeth, Nabucco, Simon Boccanegra), he collaborates with
such institutions as the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro Regio in Turin, the
Arena in Verona, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Verdi Festival in Parma, the
Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Liceu in Barcelona, the Nederlandse Opera
in Amsterdam, the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples,
the Opernhaus in Zurich, the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp, the Opéra de Lausanne and
the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
Mr. Zanellato lately starred in Luisa Miller in Bilbao, Aida at
the Teatro alla Scala,Poliuto and La Bohème in Zurich
and Macbeth in Lyon, Banco is the role he also sang for the opening
production of the 2013/2014 season in Bologna, La Juive and a New
Year’s Eve Concert in Vilnius, Nabucco in Florence, Stuttgart and
Leipzig. Mr. Zanellato starred Schubert’s Mass in A flat for his
debut at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under Riccardo Muti and Verdi’s Requiem in
Vienna, at the Ravenna Festival then on tour in Italy and Slovenia again with Riccardo
Muti, in Minnesota under the baton of Roberto Abbado, more recently at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in
Paris and at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. He sang Ferrando in Il Trovatore at
the Salzburg Festival besides Placido Domingo under Daniele Gatti, then he performed
Giorgio in Bellini’s I Puritani and Lucia di Lammermoor
in Florence, Simon Boccanegra in Dresden, Timur in Turandot at
the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, La Bohème and Norma at
the Teatro Regio in Turin and a Gala concert for the 5th Anniversary of the Guangzhou
Opera House in China.
Mr. Zanellato’s future plans include: Nabucco in
Stuttgart; Aida in Valencia and Naples; Norma at
the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris; Il Trovatore at the Teatro
alla Scala in Milan; Attila (title role) at the Teatro Comunale
in Bologna. Mr. Zanellato will sing Verdi’s Requiem with the Berliner
Philharmoniker.
