Tatia Jibladze - Carmen
Young and up and coming Georgian mezzo, Tatia Jibladze attended the Accademia d’Arte Lirica in Osimo, making her debut in operas such as: Die Zauberflöte (Dritte Dame); Eugene Onegin (Olga); Iolanta (Marta); Rigoletto (Maddalena); La Traviata (Flora); Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Berta); The Tsar’s Bride (Lubasha). Among her recent performances, she took part in Le Nozze di Figaro, directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi; J. Myslivecek’s L’Olimpiade at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna; Melibea in Il Viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro; Egle in Porpora’s Gli orti Esperidi with the youth ensemble of Centro di Musica Antica Pieta de’ Turchini.
Mario Cassi - Escamillo
Already well-established as one of the most appreciated baritones of his generation, Mr. Cassi regularly collaborates with conductors as Riccardo Muti, Bruno Campanella, Roberto Abbado, in the most prestigious theaters in Italy and abroad. Mr Cassi recently reported a great success as Dottor Malatesta in Don Pasquale for the season’s opening night at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Antonio Albanese directing, as Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Naples under the baton of Bruno Campanella and in Florence, as Belcore in L’Elisir d’amore at the Staatsoper in Vienna, as Silvio in Pagliacci at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse.

Angela Nisi - Micaëla
Born in Brindisi, Angela Nisi made her debut as Micaëla in Carmen in Bassano del Grappa in 2010. After that she performed Valtinoni’s Pinocchio at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Lucia di Lammermoor (Lucia) and Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) at the Bassano del Grappa Festival. In 2013 she made her debut as Oscar in Un ballo in maschera at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania; Violetta in La Traviata at the Varna Summer Festival; Giulietta in Un giorno di regno at the Reate Festival and she appeared in Carmina Burana at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. Angela Nisi recently sang Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle at the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia in Rome with Antonio Pappano.
Plans include: revivals of Carmen in Florence; Don Giovanni in Bangkok; La Traviata in Essen; Tutino’s Le Braci in Martina Franca (world premiere) and then at the Teatro alla Pergola in Florence.
