Future plans: La Bohème in Washington; La Traviata, Rigoletto and King Roger in London (Royal Opera House);Macbeth at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona; Lucia di Lammermoor in Toulouse; La Traviata in Vienna, Berlin; Don Giovanni at the Ravinia Festival with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under James Conlon; L’Elisir d’Amore in Vienna and Berlin; Un Ballo in Maschera in Tel Aviv; Rigoletto in Zurich, Vienna and Toulouse; Falstaff in Chicago, Muti conducting.

On the concert side Mr. Pirgu continues his collaboration with Riccardo Muti, who will conduct him in Mozart’ s Requiem in Chicago with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Riccardo Zanellato - Bass

After his success as  Zaccaria in Nabucco at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Riccardo Muti conducting, La Juive and a New Year’s Eve Concert in Vilnius, again Nabucco in Stuttgart, Florence and Leipzig and Simon Boccanegra in Lyon, Mr. Zanellato had just sung Schubert’s Mass in A flat Major for his debut at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, again with Muti. Future plans include: Nabucco in Nancy and Stuttgart; Simon Boccanegra in Dresden; Norma at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris; Il Trovatore at the Salzburg Festival besides Placido Domingo and under Daniele Gatti and at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan; Turandot at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.
