Georgian born Nino Surguladze is one of the most interesting artist of her generation. After attending Accademia alla Scala, she has already sung in world’s premier opera stages such as Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Metropolitan Opera in New York, Arena in Verona, Gran Teatre de Liceu in Barcelona, Glyndebourne Festival, Salzburg Festival, Teatro Real in Madrid, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Regio in Turin and in Parma, collaborating with such conductors as Muti, Plasson, Harding, Gergiev. Ms. Surguladze lately sang Sinaïde in Moïse et Pharaon (cond. Muti) at the Salzburg Festival and in Rome; Dorabella in Così fan Tutte andCarmen (title role) in Tokyo; Carmen in San Diego and St. Petersburg; Olga in Evgenij Onegin in Chicago. Mrs. Surguladze just starred as Maddalena in Rigoletto in Cologne and Genoa under Fabio Luisi; Fenena in Nabucco at La Scala in Milan and Olga in Evgenij Onegin at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Stéphano in Roméo et Juliette at the Arena in Verona. Nino Surguladze also starred as Maddalena in the opera movie Rigoletto, beside Placido Domingo in the title role. After her great success as Amneris in Aida at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, Nino Surguladze recently made her debut in the verismo’s repertoire in Mascagni Cavalleria Rusticana as Santuzza in Avignon.

Plans include: Carmen in Sassari; Aida in Bergen; Rigoletto at the Festival Internacional de musica de Bogotà; Luisa Miller at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; La Damnation de Faust at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège; Aids Gala Concert in Bonn, Rani Calderon conducting.

 

Gezim Myshketa

Gezim Myshketa - Escamillo

Young Albanian baritone Gezim Myshketa is one of the most promising artists of his generation. After his debut as Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, he won the AsLiCo competition in 2006 (making his role debut as both Don Giovanni and Leporello in Don Giovanni) and the "Francesco Paolo Tosti" Competition in Ortona in 2008. Interesting collaborations have followed with prestigious theaters and festivals, such as: Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Palm Beach Opera, Abao Olbe in Bilbao, Opéra de Montpellier, Filarmonico in Verona, Verdi in Trieste, Regio in Parma, Withsun Festival in Salzburg and Macerata Opera Festival. Mr. Myshketa added important roles to his repertoire: Rolando in La Battaglia di Legnano at the Festival Verdi in Parma and Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Treviso and Ferrara. He also sang: Cléopâtre at the Salzburg Festival; Le Convenienze e inconvenienze teatrali (Biscroma) and I Pazzi per Progetto (Venanzio) in Zurich, Paolo Carignani conducting; Alì Pascha von Janina in Tirana; L’Elisir d’Amore (Belcore) and Maria Stuarda besides Mariella Devia at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona; Lucia di Lammermoor in Marseille. Mr. Myshketa just enjoyed great success as Ford in Falstaff in Stuttgart, thus starting a prolific collaboration with the Staatstheater Stuttgart where he will sing, as a returning guest, in La Traviata, Falstaff, La Bohème, Carmen and I Puritani. Among other future plans: Turandot in Toulouse and Cagliari; Don Giovanni (title role) in a new production by Graham Vick for the AsLiCo circuit and on tour also in Jesi, Fermo, Parma and Bolzano; Simon Boccanegra (Paolo Albiani) in Antwerp; La Traviata in Hamburg; concerts and recording of Il Viaggio a Reims (Don Alvaro) at the Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad.
