After his great successes singing in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor in Los Angeles, Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito in Paris, La Traviata in Munich, Verdi’s Requiem at the Enescu Festival under the baton of Antonio Pappano, in Vienna and Munich with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and Mariss Jansons conducting, Saimir Pirgu returns to Barcelona, together again with Angela Gheorghiu for an all-star concert.

Future plans: La Bohème in Washington; La Traviata, Rigoletto and King Roger in London (Royal Opera House); Macbeth at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona; Lucia di Lammermoor in Toulouse; La Traviata in Vienna, Berlin and San Francisco; Don Giovanni at the Ravinia Festival with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under James Conlon; L’Elisir d’Amore in Vienna; Un Ballo in Maschera in Tel Aviv; Rigoletto in Zurich, Vienna and Toulouse; Falstaff in Chicago, Muti conducting.

On the concert it continues his collaboration with Riccardo Muti, who will conduct him in important venues such as the Berlioz’s Messe Solennelle with the Wiener Philharmoniker in Vienna, Verdi’s Requiem with Ravenna Festival on tour in Italy and Slovenia and Mozart’ s Requiem in Chicago with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
