Born in Siracusa and after a graduation at the "Giusto Monaco" Academy Istituto Nazionale del Dramma Antico- INDA and in modern letters at the University in Catania, Gianni Giuga starts studying singing with Salvatore Fisichella and Marcello Giordani. In 2018 he won the prestigious AsLiCo International Singing Competition in Como, in June 2017 he won the “Young Talent Prize” at the International Singing Contest Adriana Maliponte. Recent and future engagegements includes: L'Elisir d'amore (Belcore) in Modena; Pagliacci (Silvio) in Augusta; La Fanciulla del West Madama Butterfly, Carmen and Lo Schiavo in Cagliari; Rigoletto in Taormina, Tenerife; Italiana in Algeri in Tenerife and Bologna; La Spada nella roccia in Parma; Andrea Chénier in Trieste.
