Born in Palermo, he began studying singing, in parallel with his studies
in Architecture, with Paride Venturi; he later specialised at the
Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan and at Carlo Bergonzi's Accademia
Verdiana in Busseto.
Thanks to his remarkable vocal and acting skills, he immediately
established himself internationally in a vast repertoire that includes:

Among his recent engagements: Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Bartolo)
at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari; and L’Elisir d’amore (Dulcamara)
at the National Theatre in Prague.
