Born in Naples in 1996, Valentina Pernozzoli graduated in 2024 at the
Conservatorio ‘San Pietro a Majella’ in Naples with Maestro Chiara
Artiano. Since 2022, she has been perfecting with the DaltroCanto method
of Italian soprano Donata D'Annunzio Lombardi, with whom she still
studies.
In 2022, she was selected as an effective student at the Accademia
Pucciniana in Torre del Lago, where she took part in productions of
Puccini’s Madama Butterfly and La Rondine.
In 2023, she was Zia Principessa in Puccini's Suor Angelica at the
‘Festival di Mezza Estate’ in Tagliacozzo in collaboration with the
Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento Vocale Adalo.
Winner for the same role in the competition ‘Cantiere All'Opera’ in
Padua, in 2024 she made her debut as Suzuki in Puccini's Madama Butterfly
at the Teatri Kombetari Operas Baletit in Tirana under M° Jacopo Sipari di
Pescasseroli and attended the Mascagni Academy at the Teatro Goldoni in
Livorno.
Winner of the second edition of the competition ‘Cuore D'Oro’, with the
moral patronage of the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation by Nicoletta
Mantovani, in the summer of 2024 she also made her debut in the role of
Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni and in the role of Zita in
Gianni Schicchi by Puccini at the ‘Festival di Mezza Estate’ in
Tagliacozzo in collaboration with the Adalo Vocal High Perfectioning
Academy.
In September of the same year, she sang in the diptych Cavelleria
Rusticana by Mascagni and Gianni Schicchi by Puccini in the roles of Mamma
Lucia and Zita conducted by Giandomenico Vaccari, and in October again at
the Teatro Politeama Greco in Lecce.
Recent engagements include: her debut at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale
Fiorentino in the role of Zita in Gianni Schicchi by Puccini under the
baton of Maestro Francesco Lanzillotta; and Perosi's Il Giudizio
Universale at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari under the baton of Maestro
Maurizio Benini.
Upcoming engagements include: Falstaff (Quickly) at the Teatro Goldoni in
Livorno and at the Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
