at the Wiener Staatsoper; I Capuleti e I Montecchi in San Francisco; Don
Ottavio in Don Giovanni at the Arena in Verona; I Due Figaro in
Buenos Aires, with Riccardo Muti conducting; La Bohème at the Gran Teatre
del Liceu in Barcelona; Berlioz’s Messe Solennelle at the Salzburg
Festival again under the baton of Muti; Dvorak’s Stabat Mater in Graz
with Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Styriarte Festival.
Future
plans: La
Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera in New York; Rigoletto at
the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, in Toulouse and in Zurich;
Macbeth at the Teatro alla Pergola in Florence with James Conlon and at the

Cinzia Forte - Violetta, (December 6-12-14)
Lyric
coloratura soprano, Cinzia Forte is praised by international critics for the
uncommon elegance of her phrasing and remarkable stage presence. Belcanto
renowned performer, she is present on the billboards of the main Italian and
European theaters such as the Teatro alla Scala, the San Carlo in Naples, The
Fenice in Venice, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the
Opera in Rome, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the ROH Covent Garden, the
Royal Concertgebouw, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro de la Maestranza in
Seville, the Zurich Opera House, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysees in Paris, the
Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Teatro Real
in Madrid.
She also adds two important roles
to her repertoire: La contessa d'Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro (Liège)
and Anna Bolena (title role, in Trieste). In Palermo
she sang the Missa solemnis under the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti and the
Mozart’s Requiem at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona. She regularly
collaborates with such prestigious conductors as Claudio Abbado, Bruno
Campanella, Riccardo Chailly, Myung-Whun Chung, Jésus Lopez-Cobos, Daniele
Gatti, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Jeffrey Tate and Réne Jacobs, and internationally
renowned directors Roberto De Simone, Willy Decker, Dario Fo, Michael Hampe,
Mario Martone, Jonathan Miller, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Luca Ronconi, Emilio Sagi,
Jérôme Savary, Graham Vick, Franco Zeffirelli.
She had recently performed as
Violetta in La Traviata and as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro at
the Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
Future plans include also Fidelio and
Don Carlo in Liège, Otello in Pisa and a baroque concert in Rome with
the Accademia Filarmonica Romana.
