Na'ama Goldman - Mezzo-Soprano - W Print

Born in Israel, Na'ama Goldman graduated at the Meitar Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera.  She has performed a vast variety of roles such as Charlotte in Werther, Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel, Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, and many others.

Na'ama Goldman gained outstanding audience and critical acclaim as she stepped in to replace the title role of Carmen at the Masada Festival 2012, under the baton of Daniel Oren, on extremely short notice. Her success immediately led to celebrated debuts at the Israeli Opera, such as Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Stéphano in Roméo et Juliette, Maddalena in Rigoletto, and more.

Her recent notable engagements include the title role of Carmen at Ópera de Tenerife, at the Grange Festival in London and on tour in Italy (Cremona, Brescia, Pavia and Como) and in Tel Aviv; the title role of La Cenerentola and Siebel in Faust at The Israeli Opera; the title role of Salomé (A. Mariotte) at the Wexford Festival Opera; Fenena in Nabucco at Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège; Dorabella in Così fan tutte at Ópera de Tenerife; Marchesa Melibea in Il viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro; Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in Taipei (Taiwan); Liederabend in Piacenza; Il Barbiere di Siviglia amd Rossini's Stabat Mater at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari; Werther in Tel Aviv; Gounod's Faust at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège and in Charleroi; Così fan tutte and Idomeneo in Tel Aviv.
