soprano Auxiliadora Toledano was born in Cordoba. She made her debut in 2008 at
the Palau Música Catalana, singing the title role in Doña Francisquita,
alongside Josep Bros in 2008. She has collaborated with conductors such as
Riccardo Muti, Alberto Zedda, Jesús López Cobos, Emmanuelle Villaume, J. Ramón
Encinar, Ingo Metzmacher, Daniele Rustioni, Plácido Domingo, Miguel Roa, Andreas
Schuller, Jaime Martín, Sir Neville Marriner, Sylvain Cambreling in prestigious
theaters such as Opéra Garnier in Paris, Wiener Kammeroper in Vienna, Gran
Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro Real de Madrid, Maggio Musicale
Fiorentino, Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao, Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, Auditorio
Kuursaal in S. Sebastián, Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo, Auditorio Nacional in
Madrid and Auditori de Barcelona, Budapest Opera, Accademia di Santa Cecilia in
Rome, Peralada Festival, among others. As a prizewinner in the Operalia
Competition, she sang with Plácido Domingo in a concert in Pecs (Hungary).
Among her
most notable performanced role are: Susanna (Nozze di Figaro), Adina (Elisir
d’amore), Sophie (Werther), Corinna (Viaggio a Reims), Norina
(Don Pasquale), Doña Francisquita (Doña Francisquita), Amore (Orfeo
et Euridice), Creusa (Demofoonte), Frasquita (Carmen), Nerina
(Le pescatrici by Haydn), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica). On the
concert side, she sang Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor, the Requiem
by Brahms, Fauré and Mozart, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Psalm
no. 42 by Mendelssohn, Magnificat by Bach, Stabat Mater by
Pergolesi.
Future plans include: Carmina Burana at
the Auditonio Nacional de la Musica in Madrid; Don Giovanni (Zerlina) at
the Opera in Oviedo; Suor Angelica (Suor Genovieffa) at the Gran Teatre
del Liceu in Barcelona and a lyric concert in Panama.

Mario Cassi - Belcore
Already
well-established as one of the most appreciated baritones of his generation, Mr.
Cassi lately sang Figaro in Barbiere di Siviglia under the baton of
Alberto Zedda (just issued as a DVD) and Taddeo in L’Italiana in Algeri
at the Rossini Opera Festival. He made his debut as Figaro in Le Nozze di
Figaro in Liège, then he performed Dandini in La Cenerentola at the
Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Figaro in Mercadante’s I Due
Figaro in Madrid and Buenos Aires, Riccardo Muti conducting. Mr. Cassi had
just sung L’Italiana in Algeri in Liège and Don Pasquale at the
Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, both under Bruno Campanella, and Così Fan Tutte
at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Roberto Abbado conducting, and more recently
at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari. As a returning guest at the Teatro Real in
Madrid, he had just starred as Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
Future plans: Il Barbiere di Siviglia at
the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; L’Elisir d’Amore (Belcore) in Vienna
(Wiener Staatsoper); Don Pasquale (Malatesta) at the Teatro Filarmonico
in Verona; Pagliacci (Silvio) at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse;
La Cenerentola, Die Zauberflöte (Papageno) and Lucia di Lammermoor at
the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège; Il Viaggio a Reims (Don Alvaro) in
Amsterdam.

Giulio Mastrototaro - Dottor Dulcamara*
Giulio
Mastrototaro is a winner of the AsLiCo competition for the role of Belcore in
L'Elisir d'Amore and of the prize as best performer for Pietro il Grande
by Donizetti (recorded by Dynamic) at the Martina Franca Festival. Among his
past engagements, it is worth mentioning: L’Italiana in Algeri at the
Teatro Sao Carlos in Lisbon, Iphigénie en Aulide with Riccardo Muti at
the Rome Opera, Il Finto Turco by Piccinni in Vicenza, La Cenerentola
in Avignon and Reims, La Gazza Ladra in Wildbad, Le Nozze di Figaro
in Potsdam, La Bohème and Così Fan Tutte at the Teatro San Carlo
in Naples, Gianni Schicchi at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia conducted by
Vladimir Jurowski. Mr.
Mastrototaro recorded Siberia by Giordano (Dynamic), La Cambiale di
Matrimonio and L’Italiana in Algeri, Alberto Zedda conducting
(Naxos), as well as Donizetti’s Adelia (RCA). Mr. Mastrototaro lately
sang La Cenerentola in Massy, Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro in
Frankfurt am Oder and Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Trento.
Among his future plans, it is worth mentioning L’Italiana in Algeri at the
Opéra-Théâtre du Grand Avignon (as Haly) and at the Palau de les Arts Reina
Sofia in Valencia (as Taddeo).
