Marina Fita Monfort graduated in Lyrical Singing and Piano at the Joaquín
Rodrigo Conservatory in València. She perfected her studies at the
l'Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento “ADALO” with Donata D'Annunzio
Lombardi, with whom she is currently studying.
She has won prizes and reached the finals of all the competitions she
entered, such as Concorso Internazionale Fausto Ricci in Viterbo, Concorso
Internazionale Marmo all'Opera in Carrara, I Concurso Internacional de
Alicante, Concurso Juventudes Musicales, Concorso Lirico Internazionale
Mattia Battistini in Rieti, and Concorso Internazionale Tito Schipa in
Lecce.
She has worked with artists of international calibre such as Giandomenico
Vaccari, Isabel Rey, Ernesto Palacio, William Matteuzzi, Jacopo Sipari,
Dian Tchobanov, María Bayo, Lucy Arner, Liora Maurer, Ofelia Sala and
Sabina Puértolas.
In 2019, she won the Barenreiter prize in the famous Spanish Juventudes
Musicales competition.
In 2022, she was selected for the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome to
attend her final year at the Conservatory with Mº Sburlati as an Erasmus
student.
In the summer of 2023, she was selected by Maestro Matteuzzi to attend
the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, she made her debut in the role of Suor
Genovieffa in Suor Angelica at the International Midsummer
Festival and sung Mahler's 4th Symphony as soloist with the
Sinfonica Abruzzese under the musical direction of Dian Tchobanov. She
also made her debut at the Opera in Tirana singing the role of Frasquita
in Carmen and she won the 15th Concorso Internazionale Tito Schipa
for young opera singers.
In 2024, she made her debut at the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid as
soloist in Mozart's Requiem under the musical direction of Maestro
Pascual Osa; she was awarded the MAYTE SPINOLA gold medal in the opera
section at the Nasdaq Building in New York; she was selected by maestro
Ernesto Palacio to attend the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro and she made
her debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in the role of Contessa di
Folleville in Il Viaggio a Reims.
Her repertoire includes Belcanto roles such as Giulietta (I Capuleti
e i Montecchi), Amina (La Sonnambula), Norina (Don
Pasquale), Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Marie (La fille du
régiment), Adina (L'elisir d'amore), Elvira (I puritani),
Berenice (L'occasione fa il ladro), Sofia (Il Signor Bruschino),
Folleville (Il viaggio a Reims), Mozartian roles such as Despina (Così
fan tutte), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Zerlina (Don
Giovanni), Pamina (Il Flauto Magico) and Verdian roles such
as Nannetta (Falstaff), Gilda (Il Rigoletto), and Oscar (Un
ballo in Maschera).
Among her most recent engagements are Carmina Burana at the
Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale
Fiorentino.
Highlights of the 2025-26 season include: Il Viaggio a Reims in
Wolfsburg with the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro; and Ermione
(concert version) at the Opéra de Marseille.
