Lorenzo Regazzo - Don Basilio

As a renowned interpreter of Mozart and Rossini, Lorenzo Regazzo has been a regular guest at the Salzburg Festival and at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. He collaborated with such important conductors as Simon Rattle, Riccardo Muti, Lorin Maazel, Colin Davis, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, Daniele Gatti, Nikolaus Harnonkourt, Jesús López-Cobos and Marcello Viotti. Future plans: L’Elisir d’Amore and La Cenerentola at the Wiener Staatsoper; Don Giovanni at the New National Theatre in Tokyo; Don Pasquale in Barcelona; L’italiana in Algeri at the Teatro Regio in Turin, at the Opéra de Vichy, at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, where he also will perform Così fan tutte at the Opéra National.

Winner of II Competition for Conductors City of Granada Orchestra, Sergio Alapont is one of the leading conductors of his generation, Artistic Director of Opera Benicàssim Festival and Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of Orquesta Manuel de Falla and JOSC Orchestra. In the past seasons he conducted:La traviata in Poznan, Rigoletto at the Teatro Principal de Alicante, Madama Butterfly in Granada, L’Elisir d'Amore at the Opera Benicàssim, Una cosa rara at the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia and at the Teatro Calderón in Valladolid, Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Norma in Sassari, Don Pasquale in Treviso and Ferrara, Il cappello di paglia di Firenze at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Stravinskij’s Pulcinella at the Teatro della Fortuna in Fano. On the symphonic side he conducted a series of concert with the Orchestra della Toscana, with the Orchestra Sinfonica della Rai in Turin and with the Orchestre National de l'Ile de France in Paris. Future plans include: Il cappello di paglia di Firenze in Wexford and a series of concerts with the Manuel de Falla Orchestra in Valencia, with the orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana in Palermo and with the Orchestra del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence.
