Soprano Lavinia Bini graduated in singing with honor from the
Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence and she won the Renata Tebaldi
International Competition in San Marino.
Lavinia Bini made her debut as Despina in Così Fan Tutte at the
Eurofestival in Rome and participated in the production of Il Barbiere
di Siviglia in Fermo, directed by Damiano Michieletto.
Prestigious engagements followed: Serpina in La Serva Padrona
and Livietta in Livietta e Tracollo in Bologna and Martina Franca;
Zerbine in the world’s premiere in modern times of Pergolesi’s Servante
Maitresse at the Pergolesi Spontini Festival in Jesi (Juliette
Deschamps directing); Elena in Il Cappello di Paglia di Firenze
and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale
Fiorentino in Florence (Sergio Alapont conducting and Andrea Cigni
directing); Donna/ Sirena in Händel’s Rinaldo in Ravenna, Reggio
Emilia and Ferrara (Ottavio Dantone conducting and Pierluigi Pizzi
directing); Mercadante’s I Due Figaro at the Teatro Colòn in
