Soprano Lavinia Bini graduated in singing with honor from the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence. She won Renata Tebaldi International Contest.

Lavinia Bini made her debut as Despina in Così Fan Tutte at the Eurofestival in Rome and participated in the production of Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Fermo, directed by Damiano Michieletto. Prestigious engagements followed: Serpina in La Serva Padrona and Livietta in Livietta e Tracollo in Bologna and Martina Franca; Zerbine in the world’s premiere in modern times of Pergolesi’s Servante Maitresse at the Pergolesi Spontini Festival in Jesi (Juliette Deschamps directing); Elena in Il Cappello di Paglia di Firenze and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence (Sergio Alapont conducting and Andrea Cigni directing); Donna/Sirena in Händel’s Rinaldo in Ravenna, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara (Ottavio Dantone conducting and Pierluigi Pizzi directing); Mercadante’s I Due Figaro at the Teatro Colòn in Buenos Aires (Riccardo Muti conducting and Emilio Sagi directing); Elvira in L’Italiana in Algeri in Bari in the production signed by Jean-Pierre Ponnelle; Adina in L’Elisir d’amore for the As.Li.Co circuit in Italy (Brescia, Cremona, Como, Pavia and Trento); Carolina in Il Matrimonio Segreto by Cimarosa in Ravenna and in Lucca, Julian Kovatchev conducting; Valencienne in Die Lustige Witwe in Verona; Don Giovanni as Zerlina at the Teatro Regio in Turin and as Donna Anna at the Salzburger Landestheater.

Lately she performed in La Rondine (Lisette) on tour in Italy in Pisa, Modena, Ravenna and Lucca; La Sonnambula (Amina), Don Giovanni (Donna Anna), Idomeneo in Salzburg; La Bohéme (Musetta) in Ancona, Cagliari, Liege; Don Carlo at the Teatro Regio in Parma; Così fan tutte (Despina) on tour in Italy (Ravenna; Piacenza); Un Ballo in Maschera (Oscar) in Cagliari; the title role in Ristori’s Fidalba and Artabano at the Purtimiro Festival in Lugo, under Rinaldo Alessandrini; Tutino’s La Ciociara (Rosetta) and Don Pasquale in Cagliari; Rigoletto (Gilda) in Liege; Gianni Schicchi (Lauretta)  in Modena; Verdi's I Lombardi alla prima crociata (Viclinda) at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Michele Mariotti conducting; L'italiana in Algeri (Elvira) at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées with Teatro Comunale in Bologna; L'Elisir d'amore in Turin; Don Giovanni in Bologna and the world's première of Battistelli's 7 Minuti in Nancy; L'ammalato immaginario in Martina Franca; La Bohème in Genoa; Don Giovanni at the Macerata Opera Festival; Gianni Schicchi in Verona where she recently returns to star in La voix humaine and Il Segreto di Susanna; La voix Humaine in Pisa; series of concerts in Parma and Rome; Il Barbiere di Siviglia at La Scala in Milan.
