Latvian Lirico-Spinto soprano Julija Vasiljeva graduated from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music.

Since 2013 she has been a soloist with the Latvian National Opera, performing the major roles of the Italian repertoire,

from Verdi to the Verismo, earning the nomination of "Vocal Soloist of the Year" in 2022.

Future engagements include Turandot in Nuremberg and Mainz, Nabucco in Nuremberg,

Aida (role debut) in Zagreb, and Adriana Lecouvreur in Riga.
