                                Born in 
                                Brindisi, Angela Nisi made her debut as Micaëla in Carmen in Bassano del 
                                Grappa. She then performed Valtinoni’s Pinocchio in Turin; Lucia di 
                                Lammermoor (Lucia) and Don Giovanni (Donna Anna)
                                in Bassano del Grappa; Oscar in Un ballo 
                                in maschera in Catania; Violetta in La Traviata at the Varna Summer 
                                Festival, in Essen; Giulietta in Verdi’s Un 
                                giorno di regno at the Reate Festival. Ms. 
                                Nisi recently sang Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle at the Accademia 
                                Nazionale Santa Cecilia in Rome with Antonio Pappano; Don Giovanni (Donna 
                                Anna) in Bangkok; Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda (Clorinda) in 
                                Rome; Carmen (Micaëla) at the Cortona Mix Festival and in Florence with 
                                the Orchestra della Toscana; Mozart’s Requiem in Benevento; Verdi’s Quattro 
                                Pezzi Sacri in Cagliari, Sebastiano Rolli conducting.

                                Traviata in Toulon; Tutino’s Le Braci in Martina Franca (world 
                                première) and then at the Maggio Musicale 
                                Fiorentino (Teatro alla Pergola) in Florence; Don Pasquale in Rennes;

                                Adriana Di Paola - Mezzo 
                            
                                Winner of Santa 
                                Chiara Contest in Naples, she made her debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in 
                                Pesaro (Il viaggio a Reims) and at the Festival Dei Due Mondi in Spoleto 
                                (Amelia al Ballo). At the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia she performed Le 
                                nozze di Figaro, Ariadne auf Naxos and Rigoletto. Ms. Di Paola 
                                sang in I Vespri Siciliani at the Festival Verdi in Parma, where she also 
                                performed in La Forza del Destino with Gianluigi Gelmetti. 
                                
                                    
                                She took part in the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival, where she 
                                sang in Die Zauberflöte, Carmen and Giulio Cesare. Ms. Di 
                                Paola starred as Zita in Gianni Schicchi with the Accademia Santa Cecilia 
                                in Rome, where she returned to sing Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle led 
                                from the piano by Antonio Pappano, who chose her also for a special event around 
                                Brahms. She then performed: Ariadne auf 
                                Naxos at the Glyndebourne Festival, 
                                Vladimir Jurowski conducting; Handel’s Giulio 
                                Cesare(Cornelia) in Klagenfurt; Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in 
                                Monte-Carlo and in Saarbrücken; Verdi’s I vespri siciliani  in 
                                Madrid; Mozart’s Requiem  in Naples; Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte 
                                in Bari; Dido and Aeneas in Florence under Stefano Montanari; 
                                L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She also took 
                                part in the first edition of the Accademia Monteverdiana under John Eliot 
                                Gardiner. Future plans: Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at Accademia 
                                Nazionale di Santa Cecilia under Antonio Pappano; Stabat Mater in Génève 
                                with the Geneva Camerata; revival of L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the 
                                Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

                                Increasingly on demand at the international level, he is the interpreter of 
                                titles such as: La Bohème (Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Palm Beach Lyric 
                                Opera, Hong Kong
                                    , Mannheim), Rigoletto (Palermo, 
                                Lisbona), Madama Butterfly (Florida Grand Opera in Miami
                                    , Teatro Comunale Bologna), La Clemenza di 
                                Tito(Bergen), La Traviata (Trieste , Rouen, Malta), Nabucco (Venice, 
                                Genoa, Cagliari, Sassari, Erl). He also successfully performed: Thaïs and Idomeneo 
                                in Turin; I Capuleti e i Montecchi  in Rome; and Der 
                                Rosenkavalier (Italian Singer) in Barcelona and Madrid. Mr. Liberatore made 
                                his exciting debut in Verdi’s Requiem in Cagliari, a piece he sang also 
                                at the Festival Anima Mundi in Pisa under Aldo Ceccato and in Toblach. Other 
                                recent successes include: Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly in Tampere; Lucio 
                                Silla (title role) in Barcelona under Harry Bickett; Rota’s Mysterium at 
                                the Vatican City, at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and in Milan (recorded for 
                                Decca); Manon Lescaut with Riccardo Muti, La Bohème and Lucia 
                                di Lammermoor in Rome; Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in Cagliari; Otello (Cassio)in 
                                Naples; Nabucco in Nancy; Massenet’s Manon in Liège, opposite 
                                Annick Massis. 
                                His future 
                                projects include: Mozart’s Requiem in Erl; Un Ballo in Maschera in 
                                Bern; Elisabetta regina d'Inghilterra in Sassari; L’Elisir d’Amore

                                A noble and round voice, Gianluca Buratto is rapidly establishing himself as one 
                                of his most versatile basses of his generation. His recent engagements include:

                                Jommelli’s Betulia liberata with Muti in Salzburg and Ravenna and in 
                                Wroclaw under Rovaris; Mercadante’s Virginia and La Bohème at the

                                premiere), La Bohème and Rigoletto in Venice; Mozart’s Mass in 
                                C minor KV 427 at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with 
                                Nagano and in Cagliari; Bach’s Johannes-Passion with Lopez-Banzo in Spain 
                                and Germany; Macbeth with Muti at the Salzburg Festival, Rome and 
                                Chicago; Solbiati’s La Leggenda (world première) in Turin with Noseda; Le

                                tour with the Monteverdi Choir and the English Baroque Soloists, under the baton
