Francesca Maionchi - Soprano - W Print

Young and promising soprano, Francesca Maionchi was born in 1994 and graduated with honor in singing at the P.Mascagni Conservatoire in Livorno with Graziano Polidori, after that she specialized at the G. Frescobaldi Conservatoire in Ferrara under the guidance of Cinzia Forte. She than attended masterclass with Perla Trivellini, Alida Berti, Cinzia Forte, Jerzy Artysz, Marco Balderi, Augusto Fornari, Bruno Nicoli, Simone Tomei, Marco Scolastra, Rosa Feola, Angelo Gabrielli, Sergio Vitale.

Winner of important international Singing Contest she won the first prize at the "Dino Formichini" International Contest as Best Lyric Voice; First Prize at the 4th International Singing Contest "Arturo Toscanini"; she has also been awarded with the Làszlò Spezzaferri 2019 Prize in Verona; second prize at the Boris Martinovich International Voice Competition.

Francesca made her debust as Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana in Cecina (Livorno), and after that she starred as Mimì in La Bohème at the Puccini World Festival, at the Teatro del Giglio (Lucca) and in a production by Sky Arts International; Micaela in Carmen in Arona and La Spezia; at the Goldener Saal of the Musikverein in Vienna she performed arias and duetts from La Bohème, Gianni Schicchi, La Traviata; Mozart’s Requiem in Sarzana (La Spezia), Livorno and Lucca; Suor Angelica (Suor Genovieffa) at the Monastero Agostiniano in Vicopelago (Lucca); Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle at the Festival Verdi in Parma; Mozart’s Coronation Mass in Salsomaggiore, Parma and Brescia; Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro (Contessa di Almaviva) in Bologna; La Traviata (Annina) in Pisa; Cavalleria Rusticana (Lora) in Livorno and Aida and Traviata at the Arena in Verona.

Francesca regularly performs in concerts beside Andrea Bocelli in important international theatre in Kaunas, Riga, Al Ula, Hegra Katowice, Forte dei Marmi, Montecatini, Tampere.

Plans include: Aida, Traviata and Rigoletto at the Arena in Verona; Il Trovatore (Ines) in Livorno, Savona and Lucca; Faure’s Requiem at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.
