Francesca Ascioti graduated in singing at the Conservatory in Brescia.
She started her vocal studies with Bernardette Manca di Nissa and then specializing with Teresa Berganza. In 2010 she won a scholarship that allowed her to attend the Ateneo Musicale in Sulmona. In November 2013 she made her debut as Quickly in Falstaff in Busseto, besides Renato Bruson, Marina Bianchi directing, a coproduction between the Accademia of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Teatro Regio in Parma.
In 2014 she was involved in the Beethoven's Ninth Symphony et the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania. In the same yeas she sang as Zita in Gianni Schicchi in Piacenza and as Baronessa di Champigny in the Rota's Cappello di Paglia di Firenze in Bari, Elena Barbalich directing. In the following seasons she sang as Ozias in Vivaldi's Juditha Triumphans under Alessandro de Marchi in Venice.
Francesca Ascioti has taken part in the Riccardo Muti Academy, singing as Quickly in Verdi's Falstaff under the baton of Riccardo Muti. She regularly collaborates with Andrea Marcon, with whom he sang: Giunone in the Vivaldi's Fida Ninfa in Basel and in Baden-Baden (Festspielhaus); Marzia in Vivaldi's Catone in Utica and Euterpe in Handel's Parnasso in Festa at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam; Ozias in Vivaldi's Juditha Triumphans in Brussels (Bozar), London, Athens and at the Carnegie Hall in New York; Bach's Mass in B minor on tour in Italy, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater at the Teatro La Fenice. In the same house she also sang the demanding role of Diana in Krenek's Cefalo e Procri.
Most recently she took part in the following productions Hasse's Enea in Caonia (title role) in Rome (recorded for CPO) under Stefano Montanari; Handel/Leo's Rinaldo (Argante) at the Festival della Valle d'Itria in Martina Franca under Fabio Luisi; Handel's La Resurrezione (Cleofe) with La Risonanza and Fabio Bonizzoni in Brussels, Bruges and Metz; Handel's Messiah with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Galicia at the Palacio de la Opera de La Coruña; a staged production of Juditha Triumphans at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam and at the Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid under Andrea Marcon; Cesti's La Dori under Ottavio Dantone in Innsbruck; La Resurrezione in Prague under Vaclav Luks.
Recent engagements include: Juditha Triumphans at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Federico Maria Sardelli; Anna Bolena (Smeton) in Liege and on tour in Muscat; Handel's Orlando (Medoro) and Oreste (Filottete) with Il Pomo d'Oro; Rigoletto (Maddalena) in Nancy and Luxemburg; Scarlatti's Griselda (Ottone) in Martina Franca under George Petrou; Hasse's Enea in Caonia (title role) in Herne; Giulio Cesare (Cornelia) for the Reiseopera and at the Handel Festival in Goettingen both under George Petrou, other future plans include Bononcini's Astarto (Clearco) in Innsbruck.
